For The Last 365 Days

Dan Herron, RB11/26/2014 6:21:00 PM
Description: Colts tailback Dan Herron will continue to start, according to ESPN Colts' reporter Mike Wells.
Insight: Both him and Trent Richardson will be involved, but we like Herron's upside. Consider him a borderline RB2 with potential.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/24/2014 4:36:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) is still day-to-day, according to coach Chuch Pagano.
Insight: Pagano added that he was unsure if Allen would be able to practice this week, so for now, it seems very iffy that Allen will be able to suit up in Week 13. Owners need to monitor his progress throughout the week.
T.Y. Hilton, WR11/23/2014 7:02:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton had a big day on Sunday.
Insight: After the birth of his baby girl, Hilton went out and recorded four catches for 122 yards and a score. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in the process, for the second consecutive season.
Coby Fleener, TE11/23/2014 7:00:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Coby Fleener could not capitalize during the absence of Dwayne Allen.
Insight: After a monster Week 11, Fleener had only two catches for 28 yards on Sunday. He still holds borderline TE1 value.
Trent Richardson, RB11/23/2014 6:59:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson scored a touchdown during Week 12's win against Jacksonville.
Insight: He did so on 13 caries for 42 yards. Richardson does have RB2 potential, but we still are hesitant with him for now.
Dan Herron, RB11/23/2014 6:58:00 PM
Description: Colts tailback Dan Herron performed well in his first real game-action, during Week 12.
Insight: While he did lose a fumble, Herron had 12 carries for 65 yards and five catches for 31 yards. It looks like he will be heavily involved.
Andrew Luck, QB11/23/2014 6:57:00 PM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck had a decent afternoon Sunday against the Jaguars.
Insight: He threw for 253 yards and a score, and also rushed for 49 yards, but did lose two fumbles. Luck is still one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy football.
Dan Herron, RB11/23/2014 1:10:00 PM
Description: Colts tailback Dan Herron was announced with the starters for Week 12.
Insight: While it may not mean much, it is a complete surprise that Trent Richardson did not get the start. Owners need to keep an eye on Herron on Sunday.
T.Y. Hilton, WR11/23/2014 12:48:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was a little late to the stadium due to the birth of his baby girl.
Insight: He stated that he wants to score a touchdown for his newborn, so we will keep track. Congrats to the Hilton family.
Trent Richardson, RB11/23/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson illness won't keep him off the field in Week 12.
Insight: Indianapolis is going to need a better effort from Richardson with Ahmad Bradshaw likely sidelined for the rest of the regular season.
Coby Fleener, TEHot11/23/2014 11:49:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Coby Fleener should be started in almost all formats with Dwayne Allen sidelined.
Insight: Allen is out, paving way for Fleener to see a ton of targets. He is a solid TE1 for Week 12.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/23/2014 11:48:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) is officially out Sunday against Jacksonville.
Insight: Coby Fleener will see a nice bump in value.
Greg Toler, CB11/21/2014 3:42:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis cornerback Greg Toler (concussion) has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
Insight: Toler will likely be replaced by Josh Gordy which isn't a good trade for Indy so Cecil Shorts and Allen Hurns should get a slight boost in value.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/21/2014 11:55:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) did not practice all week and has been downgraded to doubtful for Week 12.
Insight: He is considered day-to-day, but will have a tough time suiting up Sunday. Week 13 is a more realistic target date. His absence make Coby Fleeney a top-10 fantasy tight end.
Coby Fleener, TEHot11/20/2014 1:27:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Coby Fleener could be a top fantasy tight end in Week 12 if Dwayne Allen isn't active.
Insight: Allen has already missed the first two practices of the week and it isn't looking very good for him to be ready by Sunday. The Colts can likely beat Jacksonville without Allen so if he's a borderline call they may play it conservatively.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/20/2014 1:25:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday and is missing the Thursday practice too.
Insight: He is day-to-day, but will have a tough time suiting up Sunday. Week 13 is a more realistic target date. His absence make Coby Fleeney a top-10 fantasy tight end.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/19/2014 12:43:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.
Insight: He is day-to-day, but will have a tough time suiting up Sunday. Week 13 is a more realistic target date.
Dan Herron, RB11/18/2014 11:34:00 AM
Description: With the injury to Ahmad Bradshaw, Dan Herron moves up to the No. 2 running back spot behind Trent Richardson.
Insight: Considering how disappointing Richardson continues to be, don't be surprised if Herron gets up to 10 touches a game.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB11/17/2014 4:57:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw's injury is actually a fractured fibula, according to head coach Cuck Pagano.
Insight: Originally it was reported to be a broken ankle, but nevertheless, Bradshaw seems destined for injured reserve.
Hakeem Nicks, WR11/17/2014 9:40:00 AM
Description: Colts wideout Hakeem Nicks caught just two of five targets for 15 yards, but he did score once.
Insight: Nicks is still not a big part of the offense and can't be counted on by fantasy owners.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/17/2014 9:39:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter against New England.
Insight: Allen apparently left the stadium in a walking boot and we await Monday testing to find out the severity. Coby Fleener will become a solid fantasy option if Allen isn't ready for Week 12.
Coby Fleener, TEHot11/17/2014 9:36:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Coby Fleener was a busy guy taking over after Dwayne Allen was injured and catching a team-high seven balls for 144 yards against New England.
Insight: Depending upon the severity of the injury to Allen, Fleener may be a good play next weekend.
Reggie Wayne, WR11/17/2014 9:33:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne was busy early on, but the Patriots put Darrelle Revis on him and he caught just two balls in the second half for 21 yards.
Insight: Wayne finished with five receptions for 91 yards, his highest yardage total since Week 4, but didn't get into the end zone.
T.Y. Hilton, WRCold11/17/2014 9:32:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was double-teamed all night and Andrew Luck was forced to use other options to the disappointment of Hilton's fantasy owners.
Insight: Hilton saw just seven targets, catching three for a measly 24 yards. It was his lowest production of the season.
Andrew Luck, QBHot11/17/2014 9:30:00 AM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns but the Colts couldn't stop the Patriots offense and lost badly, 42-20.
Insight: Luck just couldn't finish off enough drives as the Pats took T.Y. Hilton out of the game with a double team and Dwayne Allen sat due to an injury.
Trent Richardson, RBCold11/17/2014 9:26:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson rushed seven times for zero yards against New England Sunday night.
Insight: Indianapolis is going to need a better effort from Richardson with Ahmad Bradshaw likely sidelined for the rest of the regular season and possibly the year.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB11/17/2014 9:24:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw may have broken his ankle in the Sunday night game against the Colts
Insight: We await further word on Monday. It's a disaster for Colts fans and fantasy owners who have enjoyed a solid season from Bradshaw, particularly from his receiving efforts. Trent Richardson will have to step up.
Donte Moncrief, WRCold11/4/2014 9:14:00 AM
Description: As suspected, the return of Reggie Wayne forced Colts rookie wideout Donte Moncrief to the bench.
Insight: Moncrief even took a back seat to veteran Hakeem Nicks who was facing his old team. Moncrief is only valuable in dynasty leagues or if injuries hit the Indianapolis receiving corps.
T.Y. Hilton, WRHot11/4/2014 9:12:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton caught three of six targets for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: Hilton continues to produce and the Andrew Luck to Hilton combination is becoming one of the league's best.
Dwayne Allen, TE11/4/2014 9:10:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen saw just five targets, catching four for 48 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: Andrew Luck featured his tight ends on 16 of his 46 passing attempts, but unfortunately, Allen got the short end of the workload.
Reggie Wayne, WR11/4/2014 9:08:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) returned after missing one game due to an elbow injury and saw 10 targets.
Insight: Wayne caught four for 70 yards and a touchdown. We don't like the catch percentage, but these days double-digit points from Wayne is a pleasant surprise.
Coby Fleener, TE11/4/2014 9:06:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Coby Fleener was targeted a team-high 11 times, but caught just four of them.
Insight: Fleener made the most of them, for 77 yards and a touchdown. The Colts used short passes to their two talented tight ends all evening.
Andrew Luck, QBHot11/4/2014 9:03:00 AM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns as the Colts demolished the New York Giants.
Insight: Luck and the Colts didn't bother to run the ball in this one and Luck's fantasy owners enjoyed his seventh consecutive 300-yard passing day. He remains the overall points leader in fantasy football.
Trent Richardson, RB11/4/2014 8:59:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson rushed the ball seven times for just 33 yards.
Insight: Indianapolis featured the passing game for the first three quarters and that doesn't suit Richardson's game.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB11/4/2014 8:58:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw didn't get many carries in the game against the New York Giants, because Andrew Luck threw 46 times, but he did manage to total 79 yards from scrimmage.
Insight: Fantasy owners would have liked to see a more balanced attack, but it didn't happen in this one until the fourth quarter when the Colts were running out the clock.
Reggie Wayne, WR11/3/2014 7:34:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) is active for Monday's game against the Giants.
Insight: Wayne is a full-go. Start him as you normally would.
LaRon Landry, SS11/1/2014 3:53:00 PM
Description: Colts SS LaRon Landry will not play Monday against the Giants.
Insight: He is eligible to return from his four-game suspension, however Indianapolis will use a one-week roster exemption on him. Landry will most likely be activated by Tuesday, and should return to the starting strong safety spot.
Vontae Davis, DB11/1/2014 1:13:00 PM
Description: Colts cornerback Vontae Davis will play Monday against the Giants, according to head coach Cuck Pagano.
Insight: Indianapolis gave up 522 yards and six touchdowns to Ben Roethlisberger and company in Week 8, as Davis sat out most of the game with a knee injury. However, he looks ready to roll, after he was able to practice this week. Davis has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in 2014.
Reggie Wayne, WR11/1/2014 11:46:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) practiced in full for a second-consecutive day.
Insight: After missing Week 8, Wayne is on target to return Monday night against the Giants. Start him as you normally would.
Donte Moncrief, WRHot10/31/2014 3:35:00 PM
Description: Colts rookie WR Donte Moncrief stepped up and produced when called on last weekend and coach Chuck Pagano specifically called his name out when saying he'd like to get him "as many touches as possible."
Insight: Moncrief was way ahead veteran Hakeem Nicks as a No. 2 option, but Reggie Wayne is on track to return Monday night against the Giants and that would hurt his chances for a big game.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/31/2014 3:33:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) was a full participant in Friday's practice and now is on pace to return Monday night.
Insight: Wayne has only posted fantasy-worthy numbers once this season, but his return would put a crimp on Donta Moncrief's chances for another big effort.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/30/2014 2:20:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) matchup against Pittsburgh and didn't practice Thursday, but could return later this week and be ready come Monday night's game.
Insight: Wayne has only posted fantasy-worthy numbers once this season and we'd sort of like to see what Donte Moncrief can do after last week's 100-yard performance.
Vontae Davis, DB10/30/2014 2:15:00 PM
Description: Colts cornerback Vontae Davis was back at practice Thursday and is expected to be in the lineup Monday against the Giants.
Insight: Coach Chuck Pagano and the defense dodged a big one there as he's been one of the best players on the defense.
Donte Moncrief, WRHot10/30/2014 2:08:00 PM
Description: Colts rookie WR Donte Moncrief stepped up and produced when called on last weekend and coach Chuck Pagano specifically called his name out when saying he'd like to get him "as many touches as possible."
Insight: Moncrief was way ahead veteran Hakeem Nicks as a No. 2 option. He caught seven balls for 113 yards and a touchdown and looked as fast as anyone on the field. Don't hurry back Reggie.
Vontae Davis, DB10/27/2014 1:15:00 PM
Description: Colts cornerback Vontae Davis appears to have escaped a serious knee injury Sunday.
Insight: Coach Chuck Pagano said he didn't think it was serious after the MRI came back negative. That still doesn't mean he'll be ready to go Monday night against the Giants.
Hakeem Nicks, WRCold10/27/2014 10:17:00 AM
Description: Colts wideout Hakeem Nicks caught just one of six targets for 27 yards.
Insight: Nicks should be able to see the handwriting on the wall. He's fallen well down the depth chart and isn't going to get many opportunities. Fantasy owners can safely drop him, if thay haven't already.
Donte Moncrief, WRHot10/27/2014 10:13:00 AM
Description: With Colts starter Reggie Wayne (elbow) missing Week 8, rookie Donte Moncrief stepped up and produced.
Insight: Moncrief was way ahead veteran Hakeem Nicks as a No. 2 option. He caught seven balls for 113 yards and a touchdown and looked as fast as anyone on the field. By next season he'll be starting opposite Hilton on a regular basis.
Andrew Luck, QBHot10/27/2014 10:11:00 AM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck was 26-for-45 for 400 yards and three touchdowns against Pittsburgh.
Insight: Luck did throw two interceptions but continued his stellar season with another 300-plus passing day as the Colts. Unfortunately, on this day, he was the second best quarterback on the field.
T.Y. Hilton, WRHot10/27/2014 10:10:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton continues to produce and the Andrew Luck to Hilton combination is becoming one of the league's best.
Insight: Hilton had six catches for 155 yards and a score. As long as Luck is under center, Hilton is a must start.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB10/27/2014 10:07:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw became a good fantasy option with Trent Richardson likely sideline by a hamstring injury.
Insight: Bradhaw combined for 87 yards and a touchdown, despite seeing just six carries. The Colts abandoned the run early after falling behind 21-3 in the second quarter or Bradshaw would have been a much better option.
Trent Richardson, RB10/26/2014 3:13:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson (hamstring) is surprisingly active Sunday against the Steelers.
Insight: He was unable to practice all week, and most reports indicated Richardson would sit out Week 8. However, he will take the field, but will most likely be on a snap count, making him an RB3 at best. Ahmad Bradshaw is still in line for a heavy workload.
Dwayne Allen, TEHot10/24/2014 2:25:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen could see additional targets with veteran Reggie Wayne (elbow) out of the lineup.
Insight: Allen is the team's second best pass catcher behind T.Y. Hilton with Wayne sidelined. he has scored in five of seven games this season and we like his chances to go big.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/24/2014 2:24:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) is out for Week 8's matchup against Pittsburgh.
Insight: Wayne has only posted fantasy-worthy numbers once this season and is more security blanket for Andrew Luck than fantasy asset. Donte Moncrief is likelt to see more of an increase than Hakeen Nicks.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RBHot10/24/2014 2:19:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw becomes a very good fantasy option with Trent Richardson likely sideline by a hamstring injury.
Insight: Bradhaw is averaging almost 60 ypg and a touchdown playing behind Richardson. Now he'll likely have the workload all to himself.
Trent Richardson, RB10/24/2014 2:16:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson should be downgraded to doubtful after missing Friday's practice and making it a clean sweep for the week.
Insight: Playing part-time behind Richardson, Ahmad Bradhaw is averaging almost 60 ypg and a touchdown. With Richardson out, Bradshaw becomes a very good fantasy option.
Donte Moncrief, WR10/23/2014 2:32:00 PM
Description: If Colts starter Reggie Wayne (elbow) misses Week 8, rookie Donte Moncrief could see additional work.
Insight: Moncrief actually saw more snaps than veteran Hakeem Nicks. Still, he's not likely going to be fantasy worthy. The Colts use tight ends like wideouts and it's more than likely that Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener would see increased targets than the rookie.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/23/2014 1:19:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (elbow) didn't practice Thursday, according to Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Wayne has only posted fantasy-worthy numbers once this season and is more security blanket for Andrew Luck than fantasy asset. Expect him to miss one or two weeks with this injury.
Hakeem Nicks, WR10/21/2014 11:26:00 AM
Description: Colts wideout Hakeem Nicks could see an increase in targets and fantasy value if Reggie Wayne's elbow keeps him out of the lineup for the next game or two.
Insight: Nicks has been invisible of late, but would see more snaps. The more likely option, however, is Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener get more work.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/21/2014 11:22:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne could miss up to a couple of weeks due to a left elbow issue, according to an rtv6 report.
Insight: Wayne caught just four for 15 yards in Sunday's 27-0 win. He's only posted fantasy-worthy numbers once this season and is more security blanket for Andrew Luck than fantasy asset.
Trent Richardson, RB10/20/2014 4:00:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson will have an MRI on the hamstring that forced him out of Sunday's game.
Insight: He's said it was just a tweak and nothing serious, but the results of the MRI will tell us more. Richardson led the Colts with 14 carries and 77 yards in Week 7. If he out for any length of time Ahmad Bradshaw becomes a very good fantasy option.
Trent Richardson, RB10/19/2014 5:32:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson led the Colts with 14 carries and 77 yards in Week 7, but also left the game with a hamstring injury and did not return.
Insight: Because the Colts were up 24-0, we don't know if he didn't return because its serious or they just didn't need him with the big lead.
Dwayne Allen, TE10/19/2014 5:26:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen caught three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals on Sunday.
Insight: Allen has found the end zone in five of seven games this season. With that large of a sample size, owners really need to consider picking this guy up off the waiver wire.
T.Y. Hilton, WR10/19/2014 5:21:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton is hitting his stride midway through the 2014 season.
Insight: Hilton had seven catches for 107 yards after his huge performance last Thursday night. He is a must-start from here on out.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB10/19/2014 5:17:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw scored two touchdowns against the Bengals in Week 7.
Insight: Bradshaw scored a rushing and receiving touchdown. He now has seven scores on the season. Richardson still receives more touches, but Bradshaw gets all the scores, which makes him the better fantasy play.
Trent Richardson, RB10/19/2014 5:13:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson led the Colts with 14 carries and 77 yards in Week 7.
Insight: Richardson is still running with a purpose, and the Colts are rewarding him by keeping him their top back despite the production from Ahmad Bradshaw. Richardson still needs to consistently find the end zone though in order to be considering a true RB1.
Andrew Luck, QBHot10/19/2014 5:08:00 PM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck was 27-for-42 for 344 yards and two touchdowns against the Bengals in Week 7.
Insight: Luck continued his stellar season with another 300-plus passing day as the Colts won its fifth game in a row.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB10/13/2014 5:57:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw caught another touchdown pass on Thursday night against the Texans.
Insight: That makes five touchdown catches for Bradshaw this year. He is the more fantasy productive back for the Colts, but Trent Richardson continues to see the bulk of the carries.
Dwayne Allen, TE10/13/2014 5:55:00 PM
Description: Colts tight end Dwayne Allen broke his three-game touchdown streak on Thursday night against the Texans.
Insight: Allen caught just three of seven targets for 49 yards. He remains an interesting tight end starter but is reliant on finding the end zone.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/10/2014 9:40:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne saw a team-high nine targets, but didn't produce much in the way of fantasy points.
Insight: Wayne caught just four for 35 yards. Thursday was Hilton's night and fantasy owners should respect that Hilton is now the team's deep threat with Wayne the possession receiver.
T.Y. Hilton, WR10/10/2014 9:37:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton exploded for the first time this season, posted nine catches for 223 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: It was Hilton's first touchdown reception of the season, though he's caught at least five balls in all six games. The yardage total was one short of the franchise record held by Raymond Berry.
Trent Richardson, RB10/10/2014 9:33:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson is running hard, but he still dances instead of picking a hole and running through it.
Insight: Richardson rushed for 41 yards and a score on 17 carries. Bradhsaw saw a total of 11 carries and 6 targets, so this continues to be a 50-50 split in the workload.
Andrew Luck, QBHot10/10/2014 9:29:00 AM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck rebounded from a rare off game against Baltimore with a good one Thursday night versus division rival Houston.
Insight: Luck went 25-of-44 for 370 yards and three touchdowns. It's his fourth game of throwing for 370 yards or more. He has offensive weapons everywhere and this production level has come to be expected.
Reggie Wayne, WR10/5/2014 6:22:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne saw a team-high 12 targets in Week 5 for 77 yards.
Insight: That's two solid games in a row. He had a better day in Week 4 against Tennessee with seven catches for 119 yards and a score. We think he'll only get better as he gets further from the knee injury.
T.Y. Hilton, WR10/5/2014 6:19:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was targets a team-high 12 times and caught nine for 90 yards.
Insight: Hilton didn't get into the end zone, so it was just an average day for the wideout.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB10/5/2014 6:14:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis running back Ahmad Bradshaw out-played Trent Richardson, at least until he fumbled the ball in the final two minutes, to gave the Ravens one last chance to tie the game.
Insight: Bradshaw rushed 15 times for 68 yards and caught four balls for 17 yards. Still, I'd expect them to share the backfield going forward.
Andrew Luck, QB10/5/2014 6:11:00 PM
Description: Compared to the past two weeks, Colts QB Andrew Luck wasn't very good - 312 yards, two touchdowns (one rushing).
Insight: He had eight touchdowns and 763 yards over the past two games. He is arguably the fantasy MVP through the first portion of the season.
LaRon Landry, SS9/29/2014 5:00:00 PM
Description: Colts SS LaRon Landry has been suspended for violating the league's policy against performance enhancing drugs.
Insight: Landry will miss the next four games. Sergio Brown figures to slide into the starting role.
Da'Rick Rogers, WR9/29/2014 3:30:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Da'Rick Rogers was apparently arrested Sunday night for DUI, according to reporter Charly Arnolt.
Insight: Won't these players ever learn? Rogers has million-dollar talent and a ten-cent head. Defensive back Lolucheiz Purifoy was in the car
T.Y. Hilton, WR9/28/2014 5:22:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton breaks loose against the Titans.
Insight: Hilton had six catches on 10 targets, for 105 yards. He has yet to score a touchdown, but that should start coming soon.
Reggie Wayne, WR9/28/2014 5:20:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne scires first touchdown of season.
Insight: He had a nice day with seven catches for 119 yards and the score. It was Wayne's first touchdown since tearing his ACL in 2013.
Trent Richardson, RB9/28/2014 5:16:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson finds end zone in Week 4.
Insight: He still is not producing on the ground (20 carries, 47 yards), but did get his first score of the season. Ahmad Brashaw was not much better today (nine carries, 32 yards). Neither guy holds great upside in fantasy.
Andrew Luck, QB9/28/2014 5:14:00 PM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck continues his hot play in win over Tennessee.
Insight: He had four more touchdowns, and now has eight over the past two games. Luck also had 393 passing yards and one interception. He is arguably the MVP through the first four weeks of the season.
T.Y. Hilton, WR9/25/2014 3:43:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton practiced fully on Thursday.
Insight: It looks like Hilton's exit against the Jaguars in Week 3 was strictly precautionary. He is a WR2 with all the byes this weekend.
Trent Richardson, RB9/21/2014 6:11:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson is actually becoming a viable fantasy option. I'm seeing a lot better running than anything since his rookie season.
Insight: He still doesn't have the numbers, 80 yards from scrimmage Sunday, but I think he could be a "buy-low" candidate.
Andrew Luck, QBHot9/21/2014 6:08:00 PM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck took his Monday night frustrations out on an inept Jaguars team, throwing for three first-half touchdowns and 244 yards en route to a 30-0 lead at the break.
Insight: He finished with 370 yards and four scores before the Colts called off the dogs. That's the guy fantasy owners drafted.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB9/21/2014 6:08:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis running back Ahmad Bradshaw has become a valuable fantasy asset because Andrew Luck seeks him out near the goal line.
Insight: He's caught three touchdown passes this season, all from inside the 10-yard line. If Bradshaw can stay healthy, he'll be the primary pass receiver out of the backfield and he runs as well as Trent Richardson. It's just you can't overwork him.
T.Y. Hilton, WR9/21/2014 3:00:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton, who was already dealing with a slight groin injury, injured an ankle in the second quarter and is out of the game.
Insight: Hilton had five receptions for 80 yards. Given the blowout 30-0 score of the game, there is no reason to bring him back into the contest.
T.Y. Hilton, WR9/21/2014 11:45:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was dealing with a slight groin injury, but is active as expected.
Insight: Hilton was targeted 11 times in Week 2, but posted just six receptions for 65 yards and no touchdowns. He's usually been much better indoors at home, but faces a weak defense and should be a viable fantasy option.
Hakeem Nicks, WR9/21/2014 11:44:00 AM
Description: Colts wideout Hakeem Nicks, who questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville due to illness, is active.
Insight: Nicks had missed the last two practices, but will be in uniform. He hasn't been a WR1 for years (2011) and he's not getting enough work so far this season to be anything but an emergency bye-week fill-in.
Hakeem Nicks, WR9/19/2014 3:12:00 PM
Description: Colts wideout Hakeem Nicks is questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville due to illness.
Insight: Nicks has missed the last two practices and hasn't been a WR1 for years (2011). He's not getting enough work so far this season to be anything but an emergency bye-week fill-in.
Reggie Wayne, WR9/16/2014 9:29:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne did nothing in Monday night's game against the Eagles.
Insight: Wayne was targeted seven times, but caught just three for 28 yards. Sad production after the optimism of his nine-catch, 98-yard season opener.
Hakeem Nicks, WRCold9/16/2014 9:28:00 AM
Description: Hakeem Nicks was targeted just three times, for minus four yards, and can't be counted on as a fantasy option.
Insight: Nicks hasn't been a WR1 since 2011 and doesn't figure to get back to that status in Indy. Keep looking.
T.Y. Hilton, WR9/16/2014 9:25:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was targeted 11 times again in Week 2, but posted just six receptions for 65 yards and no touchdowns.
Insight: He's usually been much better indoors at home, but his Monday night total probably didn't help fantasy owners.
Andrew Luck, QB9/16/2014 9:24:00 AM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck could never get comfortable, but still tossed three touchdown passes.
Insight: Luck could only put up 172 passing yards against a supposedly weak Eagles defense, but saved fantasy owners with three short touchdown passes.
Trent Richardson, RB9/16/2014 9:22:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson finally showed a bit of life Monday night against the Eagles.
Insight: Richardson ran for 79 tough yards and totaled 95 from scrimmage. Still, when it was time to put the ball in the end zone, the Colts went to Ahmad Bradshaw who caught two short touchdown passes.
Arthur Jones, DE9/15/2014 10:09:00 PM
Description: Colts DE Arthur Jones was carted to the locker room with what is being called a high-ankle sprain.
Insight: He will not return. Ricky Jean-Francois will likely see more playing time.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB9/15/2014 7:25:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis running back Ahmad Bradshaw missed part of practice this week, but he's a go for game time.
Insight: If Bradshaw can stay healthy, he'll be the primary pass receiver out of the backfield and he runs as well as Trent Richardson. It's just you can't overwork him.
T.Y. Hilton, WR9/12/2014 10:35:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was targeted 11 times in Week 1, but had little to show for it - five receptions for 41 yards.
Insight: We're beginning to see a trend with the third-year receiver. He's a much better play at home than on the road. He averages 78.2 ypg in Indianapolis and 48.9 yards in road contests. The Colts host the Eagles Monday night so he's a solid play against a mediocre Philadelphia defense.
Trent Richardson, RBCold9/12/2014 10:30:00 AM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson was a disappointment in Week 1, rushing just six times for 20 yards.
Insight: An even worse sign is Richardson played 29 snaps and backup Ahmad Bradshaw was out there for 44 plays. Hopefully, the Colts won't fall behind the Eagles in Week 2 and Richardson can get equal time.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB9/12/2014 10:26:00 AM
Description: Indianapolis running back Ahmad Bradshaw proved to be a valuable asset in the season opener with five catches for 70 yards to go along with 15 yards on the ground.
Insight: It appears that Bradshaw will be the guy in passing situations and the two-minute offense and Trent Richardson will be the primary runner. If Bradshaw can stay healthy, of course. He was limited in Thursday's practice, but is expected to be ready to go in Week 2.
Reggie Wayne, WR9/11/2014 2:04:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne did not practice on Thursday.
Insight: There is no cause for alarm. Wayne is just getting rest for his knee, and he looked very strong against the Broncos on Sunday night. The matchup against the Eagles, however, is not as strong as one might expect. Wayne will play in the slot in three-wide sets and Philadelphia's best cornerback, Brandon Boykin, will likely cover him.
Robert Mathis, LB9/8/2014 3:08:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis suffered a torn Achilles' tendon while working out in Atlanta last week and is out for the season.
Insight: Mathis was in Atlanta working out because of his suspension for the first four games of this season for violating the substance abuse policy. The Colts looked like they missed him as they put very little pressure on Peyton Manning Sunday night. Indianapolis will have to look for a pass rush somewhere else without Mathis this season.
Trent Richardson, RB8/23/2014 10:02:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson ran the ball for 14 yards on four carries.
Insight: After struggling in the first two preseason games, Richardson seemed to run with a purpose on Saturday. He ran for five and eight yards on his first two carries, but then ran for one yard in his next two carries combined. He is still a risky pick in the fifth round, which is his ADP. Tell me if you have heard that before. Through the first two preseason games he's carried the ball 14 times for 34 yards. That's a 2.43 ypc average. Remind me why you would want him on your fantasy roster.
Reggie Wayne, WR8/23/2014 9:36:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne started in Saturday's preseason game but failed to catch his lone target.
Insight: Wayne still looked good in his first game action since tearing his ACL in Week 7 last year. Wayne caught two passes that were negated for penalties. There is a good chance he leads Indianapolis in catches this season and is a quality flex play in most leagues.
Trent Richardson, RB8/17/2014 1:09:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson rushed for 21 yards on nine carries in the Colts second preseason game.
Insight: Tell me if you have heard that before. Through the first two preseason games he's carried the ball 14 times for 34 yards. That's a 2.43 ypc average. Remind me why you would want him on your fantasy roster.
Hakeem Nicks, WR8/17/2014 1:06:00 PM
Description: Hakeem Nicks caught five balls for 53 yards Saturday night, his best performance of the preseason, by far.
Insight: Nicks is working as the No. 3 receiver behind returning veteran Reggie Wayne and budding star T.Y. Hilton. It's hard to predict how much fantasy value Nicks can produce, but he certainly looked healthy. Nicks hasn't been a WR1 since 2011 and doesn't figure to get back to that status in Indy.
Ulrick John, OT8/8/2014 9:38:00 AM
Description: Rookie offensive tackle Ulrick John suffered a broken ankle in the exhibition game versus the Jets, according to Colts beat writer Stephen Holder.
Insight: He was a question mark to make the final 53-man roster, but along with the injury to center Khaled Holmes leaves the offensive line a bit thin. John will likely end up on injured reserve.
Khaled Holmes, C/G8/7/2014 8:31:00 PM
Description: Colts center Khalid Holmes injured his left ankle in Thursday night's preseason game and won't return.
Insight: He did walk off the field, so we don't expect this to effect his regular season availability.
Reggie Wayne, WR8/4/2014 1:36:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne, cleared for training camp, isn't likely to see action in the preseason opener.
Insight: Wayne tore his ACL in Week 7 and at 35-years-old won't see much work in the preseason. This shouldn't change his fantasy value as he knows all the plays and where to be. This should give rookie Donte Moncrief and veteran Hakeem Nicks more snaps.
Hakeem Nicks, WR8/3/2014 10:46:00 AM
Description: Hakeem Nicks is working as the No. 3 receiver behind returning veteran Reggie Wayne and budding star T.Y. Hilton.
Insight: Nicks has yet to show much in training camp, according to the Colts blog Stampede Blue. Until we see him in a game, it's hard to predict how much fantasy value Nicks can produce. Nicks hasn't been a WR1 since 2011.
Trent Richardson, RB7/30/2014 6:10:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Richardson hadn't practiced since last Thursday. The Colts need big things from him this season after trading a No. 1 pick for him last year and letting backup Donald Brown go in free agency. The Colts are going with the narrative that Richardson didn't have time to grasp the offense last year and has studied hard this offseason, but we're skeptical he'll live up to his fifth-round ADP.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB7/28/2014 11:57:00 AM
Description: Indianapolis running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Trent Richardson appear to be the only backfield options and both should have fantasy value this season.
Insight: The Colts backfield took a hit over the past week with the loss of Vick Ballard (knee injury) and Chris Rainey (cut for off-the-field reasons). If Richardson falls on his face again, Bradshaw could end up being an RB2 or better.
Coby Fleener, TE7/28/2014 11:32:00 AM
Description: Colts tight end Coby Fleener could get on the field with Dwayne Allen more often this season, according to Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Both are talented tight ends with receiving ability, though we like Allen a little bit more than Fleener. With the return of Reggie Wayne and the addition of Hakeem Nicks both tight ends may actually see reduced targets.
Vick Ballard, RB7/25/2014 8:02:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Vick Ballard tore his left Achilles during Friday's practice and will likely miss the rest of the season. SOURCE: Chris Mortensen, ESPN
Insight: Ballard played one game in 2013 before tearing his right ACL during practice. With only injury-prone Ahmad Bradshaw and former sixth-rounder Dan Herron as backups, the Colts really need Trent Richardson to come through in 2014.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB7/24/2014 11:49:00 AM
Description: Indianapolis running back Ahmad Bradshaw has been cleared to practice, according to an Indianapolis Star report.
Insight: Bradshaw has always been a solid fantasy option, when healthy, but he's part of a three-man backfield including Trent Richardson and Vick Ballard. Richardson should get the most carries, though after averaging 3.0 yards per rush last season, there's little reason to be confident in him. Fantasy owners may be better off avoiding all three.
Reggie Wayne, WR7/23/2014 1:36:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne (knee) said he's been cleared for training camp, according to colts.com.
Insight: Wayne tore his ACL last October. The 35-year-old is a WR3 at best due to his age and lack of touchdowns the past three years (11 TDs in 39 games). He's being drafted in the eighth round.
Reggie Wayne, WR6/17/2014 8:26:00 PM
Description: The Colts expect to have receiver Reggie Wayne (knee) back for the start of training camp, according to Phillip Wilson of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Coach Chuck Pagano said he would be "shocked" if that didn't happen. Wayne tore his ACL last October and missed OTAs, but he's been cleared for football activities. Draft the 35-year-old as a WR3 due to his age and lack of touchdowns the past three years (11 TDs in 39 games).
Dallas Clark, TE6/17/2014 8:11:00 PM
Description: Dallas Clark has decided to hang up his cleats.
Insight: Clark played for three teams in his 11 seasons. His best season came in 2009 when he reeled in 100 catches for 1,106 yards and ten touchdowns. He'll officially retire as a Colt on Wednesday.
Robert Mathis, LB5/16/2014 8:19:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis Colts LB Robert Mathis has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Insight: Mathis had 19.5 sacks in 2013 and finished as the runner-up to Luke Kuechly for Defensive Player of the Year. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Mathis tested positive for a male fertility drug that is on the NFL's list of banned substances.
Reggie Wayne, WR4/8/2014 8:37:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis receiver Reggie Wayne says he's way ahead of schedule in his recovery from ACL surgery. SOURCE: NFL.com
Insight: He also added that he expects to be fully cleared by April 25th. The Andrew Luck/Wayne tandem should be as dangerous as ever in 2014.
Hakeem Nicks, WR3/14/2014 9:07:00 PM
Description: Hakeem Nicks has agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts, according to Mike Garafolo of foxsports.com.
Insight: Nicks' next touchdown will be his first since 2012. He had zero scores on his 56 catches for 896 yards in 15 games last season. He'll look to revitalize his career with Andrew Luck as his quarterback in hopes of landing a long-term contract. He'll have to share targets with Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton and Coby Fleener, however, and the four may end up taking fantasy value from each other while improving Luck's.
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB3/11/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis has re-signed halfback Ahmad Bradshaw to a one-year deal. SOURCE: NBC's Pro Football Talk
Insight: The Colts' backfield now consists of Bradshaw, Trent Richardson and Vick Ballard. Richardson should get the most carries, though after averaging 3.0 yards per rush last season, there's little reason to be confident in him. Fantasy owners may be better off avoiding all three.
Arthur Jones, DE3/11/2014 7:07:00 PM
Description: Arthur Jones is leaving Baltimore to join the Colts. SOURCE: Adam Schefter, ESPN
Insight: It's a five-year deal worth $33 million. Jones made 53 tackles last season, which was a new career-high. He'll help improve a defense that ranked 20th in the league in yards allowed last season.
Vontae Davis, DB3/11/2014 6:54:00 PM
Description: Vontae Davis isn't going anywhere. The cornerback re-signed with Indianapolis Tuesday on a four-year, $39 million deal. SOURCE: Jim Irsay on Twitter
Insight: Davis has recorded at least one pick in each of his first five seasons in the NFL. We expect that streak to continue in 2014.
Adam Vinatieri, K3/11/2014 6:23:00 PM
Description: Adam Vinatieri is returning to the Colts on a two-year, $5 million contract. SOURCE: Adam Schefter, ESPN
Insight: The 41-year-old can still bring it. Last year, Vinatieri connected on 87.5 percent of his attempts, his highest success rate since 2010. We'd expect him to have another strong season in 2014.
D'Qwell Jackson, LB3/6/2014 2:10:00 PM
Description: The Colts have signed ILB D'Qwell Jackson to a four-year deal.
Insight: Indianapolis was 26th against the run so any help would be good, though he may not be enough by himself to move them very far up the charts. He had 140 tackles last season, 1.5 sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery.
LaRon Landry, SS1/10/2014 2:48:00 PM
Description: Colts SS LaRon Landry has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff against New England.
Insight: Landry had 87 tackles during the regular season and with Tom Brady on the other side of the line, the Colts can't afford to be without a top defensive back. It appears they won't have to.
Deion Branch, WR1/6/2014 4:49:00 PM
Description: The Colts have signed former Patriots receiver Deion Branch, five days before they play at New England in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Insight: Branch didn't play in the NFL this season after catching just 16 passes in 10 games in 2012. The 34-year-old played with the Patriots from 2002-05 and 2010-12, winning the MVP in Super Bowl XXXIX. Branch is unlikely to play much of a role Saturday, but the Colts are obviously looking for any competitive edge they can get.
Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR1/6/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey left Saturday's playoff game against Kansas City due to a hamstring injury and questionable for Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff against New England.
Insight: Heyward-Bey hasn't gotten much playing time of late, so this shouldn't change fantasy lineups. Since almost reaching the 1,000-yard mark in 2011 with Oakland, DHB's game has headed south.
LaRon Landry, SS1/6/2014 12:04:00 PM
Description: Colts SS LaRon Landry is questionable for Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff against New England after taking a knee to the helmet in the fourth quarter against Kansas City.
Insight: He'll have to get through the league protocol if he's to play next weekend. Landry had 87 tackles during the regular season.
Greg Toler, CB1/6/2014 12:01:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis cornerback Greg Toler aggravated a groin injury in the first half of Saturday's game against Kansas City and questionable for Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff against New England.
Insight: Toler got burned on a second quarter touchdown pass to Donnie Avery and didn't look healthy. The Colts will need a healthy secondary facing Tom Brady this Saturday.
Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR1/5/2014 9:30:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring) left Saturday's playoff game against Kansas City.
Insight: Heyward-Bey hasn't gotten much playing time of late, so this shouldn't change fantasy lineups. Since almost reaching the 1,000-yard mark in 2011 with Oakland, DHB's game has headed south.
LaRon Landry, SS1/5/2014 9:25:00 AM
Description: Colts SS LaRon Landry appeared to suffer a concussion after taking a knee to the helmet in the fourth quarter against Kansas City.
Insight: He'll have to get through the league protocol if he's to play next weekend. Landry had 87 tackles during the regular season.
Donald Brown, RB1/4/2014 8:47:00 PM
Description: Colts halfback Donald Brown totaled 102 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns (one rushing and one receiving) in Saturday's first round victory over the Chiefs.
Insight: Brown's longest catch went for 25 yards. He also fumbled for only the second time in his career, though it was recovered by Andrew Luck for a five-yard touchdown. Backup Trent Richardson didn't see another carry after fumbling his first touch of the afternoon. Indianapolis will play New England in the next round if San Diego wins on Sunday but if the Bengals win, they'll face Denver.
T.Y. Hilton, WRHot1/4/2014 8:45:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton recorded a career-high 224 yards receiving in Saturday's 45-44 win over Kansas City.
Insight: That gives the second-year wideout 379 receiving yards in his last two contests. The 224 yards he strung together on Saturday were the third-most in playoff history. Saturday marked Hilton's fourth career multi-touchdown game and his third of the season.
Andrew Luck, QB1/4/2014 8:38:00 PM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck overcame three interceptions to finish with four touchdowns and 443 yards passing Saturday in a wild come-from-behind win over Kansas City.
Insight: Luck also scored on a fumble recovery, giving him five combined touchdowns on the afternoon. The Colts came back from 28 points down to take the lead on a 64-yard TD pass late in the fourth quarter. The comeback was the second-largest in NFL playoff history.
Greg Toler, CB1/4/2014 6:33:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis cornerback Greg Toler aggravated a groin injury in the first half of Saturday's game against Kansas City. He's doubtful to return. SOURCE: Stephen Holder, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Toler got burned on a second quarter touchdown pass to Donnie Avery and hasn't seen the field since. Unless the Colts can mount a comeback in the second half, Toler may have played his last down of the season.
Ricky Jean-Francois, DT12/30/2013 12:22:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis DE Ricky Jean-Francois is questionable for Saturday's game against Kansas City due to a foot injury.
Insight: Ricky Jean-Francois has been out for a month with a foot sprain, but based on the 2-4 week injury projection could be ready for the first round of the playoffs.
Andrew Luck, QB12/29/2013 6:25:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck has now thrown for 8,196 yards in his career, the most ever for a quarterback in his first two seasons.
Insight: Cam Newton had held the record until Sunday when Luck went off for 282 yards on 37 pass attempts. Luck cut his interceptions in half this season with nine in 16 games. Assuming New England holds on to beat Buffalo, Luck and the Colts will host Kansas City in round one of the AFC playoffs next weekend.
T.Y. Hilton, WR12/29/2013 6:02:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis wideout T.Y. Hilton finished the regular season on a high note by securing 11 catches for 155 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over Jacksonville.
Insight: Both of those totals are career highs. The 155 yards pushed Hilton over 1,000 yards for the season. Assuming New England holds onto its 13-point lead, the Colts will host Kansas City next week in the first round of the playoffs.
Donald Brown, RB12/22/2013 5:46:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis running back Donald Brown had 79 rushing yards on 10 carries, 31 receiving yards on two receptions and two touchdowns Sunday at Kansas City.
Insight: Brown actually had seven fewer touches than Trent Richardson but he produced 52 more yards with his share and scored twice. Brown scored touchdowns on a 33-yard catch and 51-yard rush, while Richardson's longest gain was nine yards.
T.Y. Hilton, WR12/22/2013 12:46:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) is active for Week 16 against the Chiefs, as expected.
Insight: Hilton has been playing with a shoulder injury for the past month. His eight catches in Week 15 were a season high and his 78 yards were his most since Week 10. He's a mid-range WR3.
Jeff Linkenbach, OT12/22/2013 11:45:00 AM
Description: offensive lineman Jeff Linkenbach is one of three Colts OL (also Joe Reitz, Hugh Thornton) who will be inactive.
Insight: Andrew Luck won't have much protection in front of him and prospects for a big day could be slim.
T.Y. Hilton, WR12/20/2013 1:28:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton returned to practice Friday after jumping onto the injury report because of a missed practice on Thursday.
Insight: Hilton has been dealing with a shoulder problem. He had eight catches for 78 yards on 12 targets last week, but the total was his first 50-yard plus game in the last month.
Donald Brown, RB12/18/2013 5:01:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis running back Donald Brown (stinger) returned to a full practice Wednesday.
Insight: Brown suffered a stinger and never returned in Week 15 against Houston after rushing for 38 yards on five carries. Trent Richardson improved as the game went on and had a season-high 67 rushing yards while scoring his first touchdown since Week 4. Both players are risky flex options Sunday against Kansas City, but Brown is the better choice if you must use one of them.
T.Y. Hilton, WR12/15/2013 5:25:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton's 41-yard catch Sunday against Houston was his first hookup with Andrew Luck of more than 20 yards since Week 10.
Insight: Hilton had eight catches for 78 yards on 12 targets. He hasn't been able to step up as a No. 1 receiver since Reggie Wayne went down with a torn ACL.
Trent Richardson, RB12/15/2013 5:22:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Trent Richardson had 19 carries Sunday against Houston, his most since Week 4 and the first time since Week 7 he had more than eight carries in a game.
Insight: Donald Brown went down with a stinger after rushing for 38 yards on five carries. Richardson had 64 rushing yards, 49 of which came on his final six carries of the game, 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Donald Brown, RB12/15/2013 2:55:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis running back Donald Brown is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Texans.
Insight: He suffered a stinger after rushing for 38 yards on five carries. Indianapolis already clinched the division so there's no need for Brown to return. The Colts are down to Trent Richardson, who has nine carries for three yards, and Tashard Choice at running back.
LaVon Brazill, WR12/15/2013 11:55:00 AM
Description: Colts second-year wideout LaVon Brazill missed all three practices and will miss the Week 15 matchup with Houston.
Insight: Brazill could have been a solid option this week after his two-touchdown effort in the last game, but now it looks like Da'Rick Rogers (6-107-2 last Sunday) could be the best play in Indy.
LaVon Brazill, WR12/13/2013 12:32:00 PM
Description: Colts second-year wideout LaVon Brazill missed a third practice in a row and fantasy owners should plan for him not playing Sunday.
Insight: Brazill could have been a solid option this week after his two-touchdown effort in the last game, but now it looks like Da'Rick Rogers (6-107-2 last Sunday) could be the best play in Indy.
LaVon Brazill, WR12/12/2013 1:55:00 PM
Description: Colts second-year wideout LaVon Brazill missed a second practice in a row and was seen in a walking boot.
Insight: Brazill could have been a solid option this week after his two-touchdown effort in the last game, but now it looks like Da'Rick Rogers (6-107-2 last Sunday) could be the best play in Indy.
Da'Rick Rogers, WR12/9/2013 5:29:00 PM
Description: According to Craig Kelley of Colts.com, Colts receiver Da'Rick Rogers played 68 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 14 against Cincinnati. He caught six passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
Insight: Rogers went undrafted in 2013 due to off-the-field issues (he was kicked off the Tennessee football team in August 2012 for failing three drugs tests), but the 6-foot-3, 208-pound target led the SEC in receptions and receiving yards in 2011. The Colts are in desperate need of a big target to step up to take the pressure off T.Y. Hilton, and Rogers could be that guy.
Andrew Luck, QB12/8/2013 7:25:00 PM
Description: Colts QB Andrew Luck woke up in the second half to finish with 326 yards and four touchdowns Sunday against Cincinnati.
Insight: It was easily Luck's best fantasy performance of the season. Despite losing for the third time in five games, Indianapolis was able to wrap up the AFC South crown thanks to Denver's win over Tennessee. If the playoffs started today, the Colts would face Kansas City in the opening round.
Andrew Luck, QBCold12/1/2013 5:11:00 PM
Description: Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 200 yards with zero touchdowns and one pick Sunday against the Titans. He did add 42 points on the ground to get to 10 fantasy points.
Insight: This Colts offense is an absolute mess right now. Luck has posted just three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) with five picks and one lost fumble over the last four games. He cannot be trusted in Week 14 at Cincinnati.
Trent Richardson, RB12/1/2013 10:07:00 AM
Description: According to Mike Silver of NFL.com, the Colts have benched Trent Richardson in favor of Donald Brown.
Insight: The Colts have fallen behind big in each of the last four games and are looking to establish a running game early in Week 13 against the Titans. Brown has gained 5.7 yards per pop this season while Richardson has struggled to pick up 3.0. Brown had 80 yards and two TDs on 14 carries in Week 11 at Tennessee and is a RB2 this week. There's no reason to hold onto Richardson at this point.
