Insight: Escobar led off the game with a double on the first pitch. He scored on Eric Hosmer's grounder. Then in the sixth, he had a one-out single and scored on Alex Gordon's double. Escobar was the only player with either team with two hits in Game 3. Kansas City won, 3-2, and leads the series, 2-1.

Insight: Indians general manager Chris Antonetti was undecided about Aviles' $3.5 million option a few weeks ago, but the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Antonetti is leaning towards bringing him back. Aviles hit .247 and played six different positions in 2014.

Insight: Escobar has led off every playoff game for the Royals, and Ned Yost is not changing his lineup despite the Game 1 loss on Tuesday.

Insight: He is 9-for-22 (.409 BA) lifetime against Peavy, with two homers, one triple, and eight RBI. Escobar has also stolen two bases against San Francisco's Game 2 starter. If you are still doing daily fantasy baseball, Escobar is a great option on Wednesday night.

Description: Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy had the lone Orioles RBI in Game 3 of the ALCS on a double in the second inning to drive in Steve Pierce.
Insight: The Orioles finally jumped out to a lead against the Royals, but Kansas City tied the game in the fourth. Baltimore lost, 2-1. Hardy and the Orioles will have to become the second team in baseball history to comeback from a 3-0 series deficit in order to reach the World Series.

Description: Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar hit a solo home run in the third inning to help Kansas City take a 4-0 lead and ultimately win Game 1 of the ALCS.
Insight: Escobar's homer was the first of three Kansas City would hit on Friday. The Royals hit two in the 10th and held on to win, 8-6. Escobar was 1-for-5 with a walk in the game.
