Holy Cross, New Hampshire set four matchups

(SportsNetwork.com) - The University of New Hampshire and the College of the Holy Cross announced on Friday their football teams will meet annually from 2016-19.

The New England programs will alternate home and away beginning with a Sept. 10, 2016 game at UNH's new football stadium.

Also scheduled at UNH is a matchup on Oct. 6, 2018. The games at Holy Cross' Fitton Stadium will be played Sept. 16, 2017 and Sept. 28, 2019.

UNH, a member of CAA Football, leads the all-time series, 7-6, including wins in 2011 and '12. Before the '11 season, the two programs had not met in 27 years.

Holy Cross, from the Patriot League, won the first meeting on Oct. 2, 1909.
