Riders re-sign Woldu, agree to terms with Etienne
Regina, SK (SportsNetwork.com) - The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed defensive back Paul Woldu and agreed to terms with wide receiver Jade Etienne.
Woldu has been with the Roughriders since 2012. Last year, he led the team with 21 special teams tackles while appearing in all 18 regular season games.
Woldu has played in 98 career games with Montreal and Saskatchewan, recording 38 defensive tackles, 72 special teams tackles and three interceptions. He is a three-time Grey Cup champion.
Etienne was acquired by the Roughriders in trade from Winnipeg on Feb. 6th. He caught 19 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns in 14 regular season games with Winnipeg last season.
