Orlando to host 2013 Arena Bowl

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Arena Football League has announced that Arena Bowl XXVI will take place at Orlando's Amway Center on August 17.

Orlando will be hosting an Arena Bowl for the fourth time and first since 2000. The city also hosted the 1992 and 1994 editions.

"The world loves traveling to Orlando, so I can't think of a better place to host our biggest event," said AFL commissioner Jerry B. Kurz. "We anticipate the largest viewing audience our League has ever had, so we will put on as great a show as they have ever seen."

The AFL will be holding its championship game at a neutral site for the second consecutive year. Arena Bowl XXV took place at New Orleans Arena last August, with the Arizona Rattlers defeating the Philadelphia Soul for the league title.
