NCAA Game Summary - Penn State at Penn

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Stanley Pringle scored 25 points and dished out seven assists to lead the Penn State Nittany Lions to an 85-73 victory over the Penn Quakers in a non-league battle at the Palestra.
Talor Battle added 24 points and seven rebounds for Penn State (5-0), while Jamelle Cornley tallied 16 points to go along with nine boards.
Jack Eggleston netted 17 points and pulled down nine caroms for Penn (1-3), while Harrison Gaines and Kevin Egee posted 16 and 13 points, respectively.
The Lions shot 51.4 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a commanding, 49-24 lead.
Despite shooting 36.4 percent from the floor in the second stanza the Lions were able to hold on for a 12-point victory.
PSU made 22-of-36 shots from the foul line, while the Quakers connected on just 13-of-17 attempts from the charity stripe.
