NCAA Game Summary - Michigan at Penn State (Tuesday, January 20th) Final Score: Penn State 73, Michigan 58 State College, PA (Sports Network) - Jamelle Cornley produced a double-double consisting of 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Penn State Nittany Lions to a 73-58 win over the Michigan Wolverines in Big Ten Conference play at the Bryce Jordan Center. Talor Battle added 15 points and six assists for the Nittany Lions (15-5, 4-3 Big Ten) as they won their second in a row. Also scoring in double figures for the home team were Stanley Pringle and Danny Morrissey with 12 and 11 points, respectively. The Wolverines (13-6, 3-4), losers of three straight, were paced by DeShawn Sims with a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds as he shot 10-of-14 from the floor in the setback. Michigan led by five early on in the first half, but with a mere 30 percent shooting from the field, including a woeful 2-of-16 beyond the arc in the frame, the Wolverines found themselves trailing at the break, 29-22. In the second half PSU shot a sizzling 64 percent from the floor and 7-of-10 out on the perimeter to cruise to the 15-point home win.
