NCAA Game Summary - Clemson at Wake Forest

Winston-Salem, NC (Sports Network) - Kyle Parker completed 15-of-17 pass attempts for 194 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Clemson Tigers to a 30-10 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in an Atlantic Coast Conference tilt at BB&T Field.

Jamie Harper was the workhorse for Clemson (6-5, 4-4 ACC), carrying the ball 24 times for 142 yards and a touchdown in the win

Wake Forest (2-9,1-7) was led by quarterback Tanner Price, who completed just 17-of-30 pass attempts for 151 yards.

The Tigers scored the only points of the first quarter with a 43-yard field goal by Chandler Catanzaro.

Catanzaro made it a 6-0 game midway through the second quarter, with a 22- yard field goal.

Clemson extended its lead to 13-0 in the final minute of the first half, with a 40-yard touchdown strike from Parker to Jaron Brown.

The Tigers blew the game open late in the third quarter, when Parker found DeAndre Hopkins from two yards out to make it a 20-0 contest.

Catanzaro made it a 23-0 contest in the opening minutes of the third quarter, with a 32-yard field goal.

Wake Forest finally broke the shutout midway through the fourth quarter, with a 45-yard field goal by Jimmy Newman.

The Tigers answered on their next offensive play with a 63-yard run by Jamie Harper to make it a 30-3 contest.

The Demon Deacons scored on a one-yard run by Josh Harris late in the fourth quarter, but it was hardly enough as Clemson cruised to the 30-10 victory.
