NCAA Game Summary - Clemson at Florida State

Tallahassee, FL (Sports Network) - Dustin Hopkins drilled a 55-yard field goal as time expired to give the Florida State Seminoles a thrilling, 16-13 victory over the Clemson Tigers in an ACC tussle at Doak Campbell Stadium.

E.J. Manuel threw for 210 yards for FSU (7-3, 5-2 ACC), but also tossed an interception in the win. However, the quarterback also led the ground game with 71 yards and one touchdown. Manuel's main target was Rodney Smith, who finished with 121 yards on four receptions.

Kyle Parker struggled under center for Clemson (5-5, 3-4), throwing for 239 yards, while also tossing two interceptions in the loss. Jamie Harper led the ground attack with 143 yards and one score.

Clemson drew first blood in this matchup, as Harper broke free and scored on a 26-yard scamper.

Florida State got on the scoreboard on its next drive, as Hopkins connected on a 28-yard kick.

Midway through the second quarter Clemson pushed its lead back to seven points with a 22-yard field goal by Chandler Catanzaro.

After the intermission the Seminoles posted the only points in the third quarter, a 39-yard field goal by Hopkins.

Florida State took the lead early in the fourth quarter when Manuel scored on an eight-yard run.

Clemson was able to manufacture a drive that led to a 29-yard field goal by Catanzaro in the final minute of regulation.

However, there was just enough time left on the clock for FSU to move the ball 34 yards on seven plays, setting up Hopkins for his sensational winning kick.
