Utah State pulls away late for win over Toledo |
Boise, ID (Sports Network) - After Utah State's last season ended with a crushing defeat in Boise, Kerwyn Williams refused to let it happen again.
The senior running back rushed for 229 yards on 18 carries and scored three fourth-quarter touchdowns to push the No. 18 Aggies past the Toledo Rockets with a 41-15 victory in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
With the win, the Aggies (11-2) claimed their first bowl victory in 19 years to put the finishing touches on the most successful season in school history. continue>> |
