Sacramento, CA (SportsNetwork.com) -
The New York Knicks have a tough road ahead when they begin a three-game western trek Saturday against the Sacramento Kings.
The Knicks will also visit the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers, and are just 2-13 away from Madison Square Garden.
New York has lost six in a row and fell to 5-26 on the season with Thursday's 102-91 loss to the Washington Wizards on Christmas. Carmelo Anthony delivered 34 points on 13-of-28 shooting and Jose Calderon added 16 for the Knicks, who shot 45 percent from the floor and failed to reach 100 points for the fifth time in the last six games.
Time to worry about the Spurs

We take things for granted, and not necessarily in a bad way.
One of the things we as an NBA world have taken for granted is the greatness of the San Antonio Spurs, though is it actually taking it for granted when this group has been so successful for so long? They've earned so much of our respect that no matter what, we universally agree they'll always be fine.
Though that concession comes with an important caveat - so long as Pop patrols the sideline, Timmy patrols the paint, Tony patrols the point and Manu patrols the bench.
