Description: Bills QB Thad Lewis will make another start Sunday against New England.
Insight: E.J. Manuel is done for the year with a sprained knee. While Lewis hasn't been a total disaster this season (3 TD, 77.8 QB rating in five games), he certainly can't be trusted in championship week. Leave him on the waiver wire where he belongs.

Description: Buffalo quarterback Thad Lewis went through a full practice on Wednesday. SOURCE: Joe Buscaglia, WGR 550
Insight: He missed last week's game because of sore ribs. E.J. Manuel has recovered from a knee injury and is expected to get the start Sunday versus the Steelers.

Description: Bills QB Thad Lewis is now considered doubtful for Sunday's game versus Kansas City. SOURCE: Joe Buscaglia, WGR 550
Insight: Lewis is dealing with a combination of sore ribs and flu-like symptoms. Jeff Tuel is likely to get the start at quarterback, which could spell disastrous results for Buffalo's offense. This is a situation you'll want to avoid as a fantasy owner, unless of course you have the Chiefs' defense at your disposal.

Description: Buffalo quarterback Thad Lewis (ribs) is expected to start Sunday's game against the Chiefs despite coach Doug Marrone saying he was 50-50 to play. SOURCE:
Insight: Lewis missed Wednesday's practice and could sit out again Thursday, but a league source said he's expected to play in Week 9. If Jeff Tuel or Matt Flynn start, fantasy owners should consider benching receiver Stevie Johnson.

Insight: Lewis played through the injury last week against the Saints so it doesn't look like he's in danger of missing Sunday's game against Kansas City. Given the strength of his opponent (the Chiefs have allowed the fourth-fewest passing yards in the NFL this season) we'd only recommend Lewis as an emergency bye week fill-in.

Description: Bills QB Thad Lewis (sprained right foot) was a full participant in Thursday's practice and will start in Week 7.
Insight: It's a relief to fantasy owners of Stevie Johnson, Robert Woods and Scott Chandler as the other options would be Jeff Tuel or recently signed Matt Flynn.

Insight: Lewis should be fine to play next week against the Dolphins, though Buffalo has signed former Raiders backup Matt Flynn in case he suffers a setback.

Description: Buffalo quarterback Thad Lewis will get X-rays on his right foot.
Insight: Lewis was seen with his right foot in a walking boot following Sunday's overtime loss to the Bengals.
10/7/2013 11:29:00 AM
Description: Buffalo signed quarterback Thad Lewis off their practice squad and have announced he'll be the team's starter against Cincinnati in Week 6, jumping over rookie Jeff Tuel.
Insight: Lucky Lewis. The Bengals defense just snapped Tom Brady's 52-game streak of throwing at least one touchdown pass and have yielded just 17.4 ppg.

Description: Cleveland's third-string quarterback Thaddeus Lewis was solid in his first NFL start. He completed 22-of-32 (68.8 percent) for 204 yards with one touchdown and one pick.
Insight: Lewis was sacked three times and the Browns fumbled twice, but that's hardly a consolation for those who started the Pittsburgh D/ST and expected more of a disaster out of Lewis.

Insight: Neither Brandon Weeden nor Colt McCoy have practiced this week due to shoulder injures. Trent Richardson (ankle) is also expected to miss Sunday's game so Pittsburgh's top-notch defense should have a field day.
