Earned All-SEC First-Team honors in 2006 after transfering from junior college, leading South Carolina in tackles that year with 107...Took a medical redshirt in 2007 after tearing his ACL early on...Did not return to form in 2008, although he did manage to collect 54 tackles...A strong linebacker with excellent strength...A punishing tackler...Also capable of shedding blockers and does a solid job getting to the quarterback...Works hard and has a non-stop motor...Does not work well in open space and will struggle in coverage...Does not possess great range and disappear at times...Has suffered a few injuries so durability is a concern.
