Insight: Winfield underwent an MRI on Wednesday, and the Pioneer Press reported he is expected to miss at least one game as a precaution. Two NFL sources told 1500ESPN.com on Wednesday night the Vikings had made no decision but hoped to know more about the nature and severity of the injury within the next day or two.

Insight: Winfield has been burned consistently over the past two games, so this may not be a good idea. He has said the foot won't be fully healed until the offseason when he can rest it.
