Description: The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed S Jordan Babineaux just days after releasing him. SOURCE: YAHOO.COM
Insight: Babineaux was set to earn about $2.5 million this year, but now will make less than that after being cut and then re-signing. Babineaux and RB Julius Jones are the only two players in Seattle who have accepted pay cuts from the team. The Seahawks are currently rebuilding under new head coach Pete Carroll and so the veterans that are allowed to stay mill most likely have to choose between accepting less money or taking their talents elsewhere.

Description: The Seattle Times reports Babineaux will move to strong safety to make room for rookie Earl Thomas at free safety.
Insight: Babineaux is bigger than Thomas, so he is probably fairly well suited to moving to strong safety. (SportsBuff.com)
