by Isaiah Frey in the end zone and the Bears killed the rest of the clock.
The Giants got on the board first when Lawrence Tynes capped an eight-play,

However, the Bears answered on their next touch as Marshall caught a 21-yard
score from Cutler for a 7-3 lead heading into the second quarter.

from Manning for a 10-7 edge with 5 1/2 minutes to play in the half.
Chicago was held without a first down and had to punt, but Da'Rel Scott
blocked it and New York recovered at the Chicago 10-yard line. Two plays
later, Andre Brown punched it in from a yard out to give the Giants a 17-7
lead heading to the break.
