Final Score: Philadelphia 34, Dallas 7
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles maintained their dominance coming off a bye as they took a convincing 34-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.
Under head coach Andy Reid, the Eagles (3-4) have a perfect 13-0 record after the break during the regular season.
Michael Vick completed 21-of-28 pass attempts for 279 yards and two touchdowns, while LeSean McCoy rushed for a career-high 185 yards and two scores on 30 carries in Philadelphia's second straight win since a four-game slide.
DeMarco Murray, coming off a franchise-record 253-yard performance last week, recorded 74 yards on just eight carries, but saw limited action as Dallas (3-4) fell behind early.
Tony Romo threw for 203 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the Cowboys' third loss in four games.
Laurent Robinson hauled in five passes for 103 yards in a losing effort.
Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington are all tied for second in the NFC East. The New York Giants lead the division with a 5-2 record.
Vick hit Jeremy Maclin on a quick slant on the second play of the game for a 24-yard gain before a couple of long runs by McCoy and Vick moved the Eagles deep into Dallas territory. Maclin capped the eight-play drive by catching a quick pass to the left and running untouched 12 yards into the end zone.
It was the first touchdown the Cowboys have allowed in the first quarter this year.
"I was proud of our guys for the way they came out," Reid said after the game.
After forcing a Dallas punt, Philadelphia took the ball at its own 10. Three consecutive double-digit gains moved them past midfield, and McCoy broke through a huge hole up the middle for a 34-yard gain down to the Dallas two. McCoy finished the drive on the next play by powering into the end zone for a 14-0 lead.
Murray reeled off a 26-yard rush down the right sideline on the first play of the ensuing drive, but two plays later, Romo's pass deflected off the hands of Martellus Bennett and into the hands of a diving Nnamdi Asomugha at the Eagles' 33.
Brent Celek then capped an 11-play scoring drive by hauling in a nine-yard TD pass in the back of the end zone with 10:13 left in the half.
Murray ripped off another long run on the Cowboys' next touch before Robinson hauled in a juggling, 28-yard catch over the head of Asante Samuel on a 3rd- and-5. However, an Eagles' challenge showed Robinson stepped out of bounds during the grab and the play was overturned.
The Eagles continued their first-half assault after Dallas' punt as Vick picked up large chunks of yardage through the air, but Philadelphia failed to convert from within the Cowboys' five-yard line and had to settle for an Alex Henery 23-yard field goal, making it a 24-0 game at the break.
Dallas still could not find a rhythm on the opening possession of the second half, and Philadelphia kept attacking after a Cowboys punt, driving 68 yards in 13 plays before Henery connected from 26 yards out with 5:55 left in the third.
A Cowboy three-and-out led to another long drive by the Eagles, capped by McCoy's 13-yard scoring run off right tackle early in the fourth.
Dallas was able to get on the board on the second play of the next drive when Romo tossed a pass deep down the right sideline to Robinson just over the fingertips of Eagles safety Kurt Coleman, and the receiver took the ball 70 yards down the field.
The Cowboys threatened again late in the fourth quarter, but Romo was sacked by defensive end Jason Babin on a 4th-and-goal at the Eagles two, turning the ball over on downs.
"We just didn't execute as well as we needed to tonight," said Romo. "We need to watch this tape and find a way to get better."
Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee left the game in the first half with a sprained left wrist...Dallas cornerback Mike Jenkins left the game in the second half with a hamstring injury...McCoy has scored a touchdown in the first seven games of the season...Babin had two sacks...Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware had four sacks in the game, giving him 18 sacks in his last 10 games. It was the eighth time in his career that he has recorded three or more sacks in a game.
