Raiders' McFadden to miss Week 10

Alameda, CA ( - Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden will be inactive for Sunday's game against the New York Giants due to a recurrence of a previous hamstring injury.

McFadden sat out Oakland's 27-17 win over San Diego on Oct. 6 with a hamstring strain prior to returning to action the following week. The oft-injured veteran had just five carries in last Sunday's 49-20 loss to Philadelphia, however, before exiting early in the second quarter.

The former first-round pick has struggled since coming back from the initial injury, averaging just 3.0 yards per rush attempt over Oakland's last three outings.

Starting quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who departed last week's game in the fourth quarter with a minor knee issue, is probable to face the Giants after putting in a third straight full practice on Friday.

In addition to McFadden, wide receiver Juron Criner (shoulder), safety Tyvon Branch, rookie cornerback D.J. Hayden and offensive tackles Tony Pashos (hip) and Matt McCants have been ruled out for Sunday's tilt.

Hayden, Oakland's first-round pick in last April's draft, strained his groin during Wednesday's practice. Branch has been inactive since Week 2 because of a significant ankle injury.

Offensive lineman Andre Gurode is listed as questionable after missing the Raiders' last two tests with a quadriceps issue.
