Riders' Bell announces retirement
Regina, SK (SportsNetwork.com) - Saskatchewan Roughriders fullback Graeme Bell has announced his retirement after nine CFL seasons.
Bell spent the last three years of his career with Saskatchewan and will go out a winner, playing for a Grey Cup champion for the first time this past season.
The 33-year-old veteran appeared in 97 career CFL games. He entered the league as a free agent with Winnipeg in 2005 and joined Edmonton in 2009 before finding his way to Saskatchewan in 2011.
Bell registered 66 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries and added seven catches for 28 yards and two scores in his career. He also compiled 60 special teams tackles.
