The son of former NHLer Mark Tinordi is the 38th-ranked North American skater by NHL Central Scouting and is the 11th defenseman on that list...Has excellent size at 6-6, 205 pounds and is a decent skater...Was captain for the U.S. NTDP Under-18 team in 2009-10 while recording nine points (4 goals, 5 assists) and 68 penalty minutes in 26 games...Posted a goal and an assist and was a plus-eight in seven games for gold-medal winning Team USA at the 2010 World Under-18 Championships...Has committed to play college hockey at the University of Notre Dame.
