Started all 34 games for the Texas Longhorns as a senior, placing third on the team in scoring with 10.4 ppg and coming up with 5.9 rpg...Pittman, who led the Longhorns in blocked shots in 2009-10 with 63, shot an impressive 65.4 percent from the floor, but a paltry 55.6 percent at the free-throw line...A member of the Big 12 Championship All-Tournament team as a junior, Pittman`s biggest opponent was himself as he tried to keep his weight under control in order to be more productive with Texas, dropping more than 70 pounds from the 366 he weighed in at when he landed in Austin as a freshman...Always strong around the rim at the offensive end of the floor, Pittman was one of the top field goal shooters for the `horns during his tenure, although he didn`t take nearly the same number of attempts as teammates who regularly controlled the flow of games...Must work on his mechanics and footwork on offense, not to mention his range with jump shooting...While attending the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago in late May, Pittman learned that his 16-year-old brother Darius Johnson was shot and killed in Houston.
