2010: Selected by Chicago in 1st round (17th overall) of the NBA Draft; Traded to Washington with Kirk Hinrich for Vladimir Veremeenlo, June 24th...2014: Re-signed with Washington to a one-year deal worth $3.8 million.

Has shown considerable improvement over the last couple of years, but there is still a long way to go before Seraphin is anywhere near ready to take on the action that exists in the NBA...Uses his body well in the paint at the offensive end, but still needs better footwork in order to take advantage of opponents...Seraphin can be inconsistent on offense from one game to the next, there`s no telling how he will respond day in and day out, but at least at the defensive end he tends to be more stable and productive...Still getting used to the sport, having played for just a few years, the 20-year old has his work cut out for him if he is going to take full advantage of his body type, frame and athleticism.
