2012: Selected by Portland in 2nd round (40th overall) of the NBA Draft...2015: Traded to Denver in a five-player deal, Feb. 19th.

Established a reputation as a big time scorer while leading the Conference USA with 18.0 points per game in 2011-2012 as a sophomore...Managed to convert 50.9 percent of his field goal attempts and played an impressive 35.3 minutes per game for the 2012 C-USA Regular Season and Conference Tournament Champions...Also led Memphis with 8.0 rebounds per game in 2011-2012 which helped him earn the 2012 Conference USA Player of the Year Award and a spot on the All-C-USA First Team...Scored a career-high 30 points in his final collegiate regular season game to become the ninth player in school history to achieve the feat in just two seasons...Contributed 12.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game during his freshman season...Showed drastic improvement after his freshman season...Has the ability to create his own shot and the ability to make baskets from nearly anywhere on the court...Shot selection can be questionable at times, but his field goal percentage still remained among the C-USA`s league leaders...Three-point shooting is inconsistent...Has proven to be an aggressive and confident player...Will need to add strength and weight to avoid being pushed around at the next level...Athleticism allows him to penetrate around most defenders and leap with anyone.
