NOTES: Davis Love III will lead the U.S. side, while Darren Clarke will captain the European team. For the U.S. team, players will earn one point per $1,000 earned at the four majors in 2015 and one point per $2,000 earned at the 2015 World Golf Championships and Players Championship. In 2016, players will gain one point per $1,000 earned at regular tour events and two points per $1,000 earned at the four major championships. Players in opposite field PGA Tour events will not receive any points. The qualification process for the 2016 European Ryder Cup will have the top-four players from the European points list and the top-five players from the world points list automatically qualifying for the team. For the European points list, players will get one point per 1,000 euros earned, while the world points list will be comprised of world ranking points earned. Points for the European Ryder Cup team will begin in September at the Russian Open.
