Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris went off for 25 points, eight rebounds and two blocks Sunday in a win against Minnesota.
Insight: Morris, a 31.6 percent three-point shooter for the season, shot 3-of-3 from that distance on Sunday. The ten field goals Morris made were his most since December 6th.

Hot3/16/2014 4:20:00 PM
Description: Phoenix forward Markieff Morris exploded for 16 points and 14 rebounds Sunday in a win against Toronto.
Insight: That's Morris' highest rebounding total since January 26th versus Cleveland. His 16.1 ppg scoring average in March is his highest for any month this season. Look for him to stay hot Monday against Brooklyn.

Hot3/2/2014 10:38:00 PM
Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris had 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two threes and one steal Sunday.

2/19/2014 9:18:00 AM
Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris double-doubled with 13 points and 12 rebounds Tuesday at Denver. He added three steals, two assists and a block over 42 minutes.
Insight: Morris has scored double-digit points in 14 of his last 15 games and is averaging 12.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks in just 25.4 minutes per game this season.

Hot1/26/2014 8:48:00 PM
Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris continued his recent hot streak with 27 points, 15 rebounds and one block over 33 minutes Sunday at Cleveland.
Insight: Morris is begging for more playing time with his performance lately. He has averaged 20.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over his last six games despite getting just 28.3 minutes per game in that span.

Hot1/19/2014 10:28:00 PM
Description: Suns forward Markieff Morris' last three games have produced 63 points, 25 boards and eight assists.
Insight: Those are averages of 21 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Morris has been a solid deep-league fantasy option averaging 12.2 points and 6.0 rebounds in just 25 minutes per game this season.

1/13/2014 9:24:00 PM
Description: Suns forward Markieff Morris has been ejected from Monday's game against New York.
Insight: Morris (11.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg) received two technical fouls in only nine minutes of action. It's his first career ejection. Markieff's twin brother Marcus should see more playing time in his absence.

12/7/2013 9:18:00 AM
Description: Phoenix power forward Markieff Morris made 11-of-14 from the field for 25 points with 11 rebounds Friday against Toronto.
Insight: Morris has played well off the bench this season, averaging 26 minutes, 12.9 points and 6.1 rebounds, but he's providing just 0.3 blocks, 0.3 threes and 0.9 steals per game, which limits his value.

11/22/2013 9:50:00 PM
Description: Phoenix power forward Markieff Morris had 11 points and nine rebounds in 36 minutes Friday against the Bobcats after averaging just 19 minutes, 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds over his last four.
Insight: Morris averaged 32 minutes, 22.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in four games from Nov. 5-10, but the four games prior to Friday remind us to temper expectations for the 24-year-old. He should still be owned in most leagues.

Description: Phoenix power forward Markieff Morris is expected to give it a go Wednesday versus Portland. Morris has been dealing with an illness. SOURCE: Erik Gunderson, The Colombian
Insight: Morris is having a breakout season. In six games, he's averaging 17.2 ppg on 62.7 percent shooting. He might play a little less than usual because of the illness but he's still worth starting in most fantasy leagues.

Hot11/12/2013 7:13:00 PM
Description: Suns coach Jeff Hornacek acknowledged Tuesday that power forward Markieff Morris could start at some point, but he doesn't want to disrupt the bench chemistry right now. SOURCE: Matt Petersen, suns.nba.com
Insight: Morris is averaging 31 minutes, 22.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals over the last four games. Even if he remains on the bench, he should still consistently get 30-plus minutes per game and should be added in all leagues.

Hot11/9/2013 9:01:00 AM
Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris has made 21-of-26 from the field and averaged 25.5 ppg and 11 rpg his last two games.
Insight: Morris hasn't returned to the starting lineup yet after missing the season opener due to a suspension, but he's played at least 29 minutes in three straight games and is a must-add in deeper leagues.

10/26/2013 3:45:00 PM
Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris will miss the season opener.
Insight: He's been suspended for one game without pay for elbowing Serge Ibaka in the face this past week. Morris will be the Suns starting power forward beginning in Game 2 of the season. He has standard league appeal as he'll contribute something positive in points, rebounds, blocks, steals and threes.

3/5/2013 11:48:00 AM
Description: Suns power forward Markieff Morris is questionable for Wednesday's game against Toronto with a sore right knee.
Insight: Neither Markieff or twin brother Marcus are producing fantasy-worthy numbers, though with Jermaine O'Neal out for three games one of the two may get more minutes. More likely Marcus.

12/8/2012 7:31:00 PM
Description: One game after scoring 15 points with a season-high 17 rebounds, Suns power forward Markieff Morris had 13 and six with four assists and one block Saturday against the Clippers.
Insight: Morris is still an inconsistent fantasy player since you never know when Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry is going to play him less than 20 minutes, like he did in three straight games prior to Thursday's breakout.

11/24/2012 9:26:00 AM
Description: Phoenix power forward Markieff Morris knocked in 23 points Friday in an overtime win against the Hornets.
Insight: That's a new career-high for Morris. He's improved his scoring average by more than two ppg this season (9.7 in 2012-13 compared to 7.4 last season).

11/16/2012 11:55:00 AM
Description: Suns forward Markieff Morris is doubtful for Friday's game against the LA Lakers with a bruised lower back.
Insight: Morris was seen on crutches after suffering the injury against Chicago. He's averaging 7.1 ppg and 5.0 rpg. More playing time for Luis Scola who is already averaging 15.3 ppg and 8.9 rpg. Make sure Scola is started in all lineups.

10/25/2012 10:32:00 PM
Description: The Suns have picked up forward Markieff Morris' option for next season.
Insight: Morris (7.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg as a rookie in 2011-12) won't be of much use to fantasy owners this season unless starting power forward Luis Scola suffers a major injury.

4/3/2012 4:46:00 PM
Description: Markieff Morris will be available to play Tuesday night against Sacramento. Morris has missed the Suns' past two contests with the flu.
Insight: It's nice that Morris is feeling better but does this news really help your fantasy team? Unless you're playing in an extremely deep league, probably not.
