Shaw nailed a 25-yard field goal with 8:55 left in the first to give the Eskimos an early lead.

Luca Congi's 17-yard field goal tied the game at 3-3 with 3:47 to go in the first quarter.

Shaw split the uprights from 38 yards out just under four minutes into the second stanza, but the Ti-Cats scored 14 unanswered points to take a 17-6 lead into the locker room.

Burris connected with Bakari Grant for a 24-yard gain to put the ball on the Eskimo's 19. After an 11-yard completion to Onrea Jones, Gable bulled his way across the goal line from eight yards out.

Burris' 17-yard touchdown pass to Ellingson made it an 11-point game. Burris scrambled to his right and started to break for the end zone, but pulled up last second and found Ellingson streaking across the back of the end zone for the score.

Hamilton conceded into the end zone with 10 minutes left, but got the points back on its next touch as Congi drilled a 38-yarder with 5:16 left to make it 20-8.

The Eskimos responded with a touchdown as Hugh Charles found the end zone from five yards out, but the Tiger-Cats drove right down the field to open the fourth, ending the drive with a 17-yard touchdown completion to Ellingson.

Reilly connected with Henry for a seven-yard touchdown to pull Edmonton within 27-22.

Congi's 27-yarder with 1:55 left made it 30-22, but after a 40-yard catch-and- run from Henry and a 29-yard pass interference call set up Joseph's three-yard touchdown toss to McCarty to pull the Eskimos within 30-28. Reilly fumbled on the two-point try, but Edmonton was able to force a punt with 26 seconds left.

Reilly rushed to the Hamilton 53, spiked the ball to stop the clock, then found Fred Stamps for a 10-yard gain with one second remaining, but Shaw's field goal was wide ride and the Tiger-Cats took a knee in the end zone to end the contest.
