Jadson, Romarinho lead Corinthians past Sport

Sao Paulo, Brazil (SportsNetwork.com) - A pair of goals from both Jadson and Romarinho led the way as Corinthians snapped a two-match winless run with a 4-1 victory at Sport Recife.

Romarinho opened the scoring after 20 minutes before his tally was canceled out eight minutes later by Augusto Moreira for Sport.

However, Corinthians took over from there as Jadson made it 2-1 to the visitors at halftime before Sport was reduced to 10 men after Durval's red card in the 53rd minute.

Both Jadson and Romarinho made the most of the numerical advantage by each adding another goal, while Sport finished the match with nine men as Euvaldo Neto received his marching orders 20 minutes from time.

Cruzeiro moved to the top of the league after a 3-1 comeback win at Internacional which saw Ricardo Goulart, Willian, and Marcelo Moreno each score for Cruzeiro following Wellington's 39th-minute opener for the hosts.

A goal in the fourth minute from Kenedy was enough to lift Fluminense to a 1-0 win at Bahia, while Sao Paulo edged Gremio, 1-0, behind Lucas Cavalcante's 61st-minute strike.

Atletico PR scored twice in a three-minute span in the second half to down Coritiba, 2-0, Jackson's goal after five minutes stood up to help Goias top Figueirense, 1-0, Chapecoense notched a 2-0 home win over Palmeiras, Atletico Mineiro and Criciuma played to a 0-0 draw, Dinei scored 20 minutes from time to give Vitoria a 1-1 draw at Botafogo, while Santos held on for a 0-0 stalemate with Flamengo after playing the final 15 minutes with 10 men due to a red card for Geuvanio Silva.
