Zamora helps QPR make Premier League return

London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Bobby Zamora scored on the stroke of full time at Wembley on Saturday to lift QPR back into the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Derby County.

QPR, which was relegated from the top flight last season, dug itself a major hole in Saturday's playoff final when a 60th-minute red card to Gary O'Neill reduced the club to 10 men.

It looked bleak for Harry Redknapp's side, but Zamora popped up late in the affair with a dramatic winner.

The journeyman striker capitalized on a failed clearance in the 90th minute and slotted home the loose ball with a first-time finish for a goal worth an estimated $200 million.

Joining QPR in the Premier League next season will be Leicester City and Burnley, both of which gained automatic promotion thanks to their first-place and second-place finishes, respectively, in the Championship this year.
