The LPGA Qualifying Tournament kicks off on Wednesday. The field will be
split on the Champions and Legends Courses at LPGA International for the
first four rounds. After 72 holes, the field is cut to the top 70 and ties,
then the remaining field will play the Champions Course for the final round
on Sunday. The top 40 and ties will receive LPGA Tour membership for 2013.
Numa Gulyanamitta closed with back-to-back 68s last year to earn medalist
honors by two strokes over Christine Song. Gulyanamitta kept her card by
finishing 87th on the money list, while Song is back after ending 129th.
