| NOTES | | | Keegan Bradley and Jason Dufner were close for all four rounds last year, so
close in fact that it took a playoff to separate them and determine a
champion. Bradley played the three playoff holes in 10 strokes to beat Dufner
by one and earn his first major championship. Prior to winning the
WGC-Bridgestone Invitational last weekend, Bradley hadn`t had a top-10 finish
since the Houston Open, which ended on April 1. That was his first win since
this championship last year. Dufner has won twice and has finished in the top
7 in five of his last seven starts. Earlier this year, Bubba Watson beat
former British Open champ Louis Oosthuizen in a playoff at the Masters, Webb
Simpson rallied to win the U.S. Open and Ernie Els was handed his second
British Open crown as Adam Scott bogeyed the final four holes.
