UC Davis to visit Arizona State, Hawaii
Davis, CA (Sports Network) - UC Davis football will visit Arizona State and the University of Hawaii as part of a challenging 2011 schedule.
The Aggies will open their 11-game season on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Arizona State and make the trip to Hawaii for a second game against an FBS opponent, Saturday, Sept. 24 in Honolulu.
Coach Bob Biggs' squad also will travel to Montana State, the 2010 Big Sky Conference co-champion, on Sept. 10. The Aggies will join the Big Sky in 2011 along with Cal Poly and Southern Utah.
In the final year of the Great West, UC Davis will play conference games at home against Cal Poly (Nov. 5) and North Dakota (Nov. 12) as well as on the road at South Dakota (Oct. 22) and Southern Utah (Oct. 29).
UC Davis' other home games are against San Diego (Sept. 17), Humboldt State (Oct. 8) and start-up program Texas-San Antonio (Oct. 15) on Homecoming Day at Aggie Stadium.
UC Davis' regular-season finale is at Sacramento State in the 58th annual Causeway Classic on Nov. 19.
