Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Casey Pachall threw three touchdown passes and the 17th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs handled the Virginia Cavaliers, 27-7, on Saturday.

Pachall completed 21-of-32 passes for 305 yards and an interception for the Horned Frogs (3-0), who extended their winning streak to 11 games, which is the best such streak in the nation.

Brandon Carter caught five passes for 128 yards and a score. LaDarius Brown and Josh Boyce also had one receiving touchdown.

"We found a way to get to 3-0," TCU coach Gary Patterson said. "It was not pretty again and this time it was the fault of the offense. If it was not for some blocks in the back we probably would have had 100 or 120 more punt return yards if we just do our job."

Michael Rocco connected on 13-of-28 passes for 126 yards and two interceptions for the Cavaliers (2-2), who have lost two in a row. Phillip Sims completed 5- of-12 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown.

"They were a good defense, they were fast and physical," Rocco said. "We still moved the ball, but they were a great defense and they forced turnovers. I still believe in our offense."

Kevin Parks carried the ball 12 times for 84 yards in defeat. Dominique Terrell hauled in five passes for 86 yards.

The Horned Frogs never looked back after scoring a touchdown on their opening possession. On the sixth play of the drive, Carter caught a 68-yard TD pass from Pachall.

Following multiple punts, Virginia turned the ball over early in the second quarter. Parks fumbled the football after gaining two yards on the ground. TCU's Kenny Cain recovered the ball at the 42 of the Cavaliers.

On the seventh play of the ensuing drive, Boyce caught a 6-yard TD pass in the middle of the end zone to make it 14-0.

Rocco and Pachall both threw an interception before the half was over.

TCU got the ball to start the second half and Jaden Oberkrom made a 46-yard field goal.

Rocco was intercepted by Cain on Virginia's next possession, which led to a 47-yard Oberkrom field goal.

The Cavaliers followed with an 11-play, 72-yard drive that stalled at the 12- yard line of TCU. Rocco threw back-to-back incomplete passes to end the march.

Virginia finally got on the board with 4:22 left in the fourth, when Sims threw a 5-yard TD pass to E.J. Scott. It was the first touchdown allowed by TCU this season.

Brown's 17-yard TD catch with 1:20 remaining accounted for the final margin.
