NZ Women set all-time highest ODI total of 490 in Dublin

DUBLIN (AP) New Zealand Women broke the world record for the highest one-day international total by making 490-4 against Ireland in Dublin on Friday.

The White Ferns surpassed their own 21-year record of 455 against Pakistan in the 48th over as they batted first having won the toss in the opening ODI at YMCA Cricket Club.

Skipper Suzie Bates scored 151 from 94 balls and Maddy Green posted 121 off 77 balls as their team also passed the England men's mark of 444 in the 47th over.

New Zealand bowled out Ireland for 144 and won by 346 runs.
