Faw, Pridgen help Holy Cross fend off Lehigh 96-95 in OT | |
WORCESTER, Ma. (AP) Matt Faw scored 22 points, tying his career high, as Holy Cross rallied from 17 points down and defeated Lehigh 96-95 in overtime on Wednesday night. Joe Pridgen scored seven of his 20 points in overtime, including a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining that were just enough for the the Crusaders (3-17, 2-5 Patriot League) to survive a last-second 3 from Lehigh's Jordan Cohen. Faw scored a 3-pointer late in regulation to bring the Crusaders within three, then assisted on Ryan Wade's trey to knot the game with eight seconds left and force overtime.
