HotYunel EscobarSSRays shortstop Yunel Escobar has an enticing matchup tonight against Yankees' right-hander Michael Pineda.Not only does Escobar have good numbers against Pineda (6-for12 with 2 HR and 5 RBI) during his career, he also has been on a tear lately. Chris ArcherSPRays starter Chris Archer tossed seven innings and allowed one run as the Rays beat the Blue Jays, 6-5, on Sunday.Unfortunately, the Tampa Bay bullpen blew the lead, so Archer did not get the victory. Nate KarnsRPIn his first start of the season, Tampa Bay pitcher Nathan Karns threw seven shutout innings, allowed two hits, struck out eight and walked two as Tampa Bay defeated Toronto, 1-0.The seven shutout innings came out of no where as Karns has made two other starts in his career and allowed 10 earned runs over five innings. Drew HutchisonSPBlue Jays right-hander Drew Hutchison allowed six runs, including two homers, in six and 1/3 innings against the Orioles on Tuesday.Hutchison had impressive stuff, striking out 11 and walking one, but he gave up the long ball to Orioles first baseman Steve Pearce and shortstop Jimmy Paredes. Jose BautistaRFBlue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista has a tough matchup tonight against Orioles righty Ubaldo Jimenez. Joey Bats has put up MVP type numbers this season (.285 BA, 32 HR, 97 RBI), but faces a personal nemesis tonight, as he is a career .083 hitter (2-for-24) against Jimenez. Colby RasmusCFBlue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus needs to be in the lineup against the Orioles, for Tuesday night's game.No doubt Rasmus has struggled this season from an average perspective (.226/.288/.449). However, he should be in the lineup tonight when Toronto takes on Ubaldo Jimenez. Rasmus is a career .370 hitter (10-for-27) against him, with seven extra-base hits.
